This dwelling is positioned at the end of a row of attached terraces and as such is a semi-detached dwelling. The work involved the reconfiguration and opening up of the rear and the addition of a contemporary first floor partially built into the existing front gable roof form. It is setback from the side boundary and sits under the primary ridge thus respecting the original built form and achieving modesty of scale and an unobtrusive form in the context of the heritage conservation streetscape.
